Fairfax Hospital offers a broad range of behavioral health services for children, adolescents and adults. Inpatient services are designed to provide short-term acute care stabilization to enable patients to return to a less restrictive level of treatment as quickly as possible. Partial hospitalization (day treatment) is designed for patients who require intensive support and structure but do not require 24 hour supervision. Chemical Dependency treatment includes medical detox and inpatient co-occurring disorders treatment.
Northwest School of Innovative Learning is a year-round, State Chartered alternative day school for students with behavioral health issues that cannot be managed in the local school district setting. A full academic program is provided, along with therapeutic treatment tailored to the individual student.
Fairfax Hospital is the Regional Clinical Affiliate of The Jason Foundation, a national non-profit organization whose mission is to help educate parents, teachers, youth workers and young people on the “Silent Epidemic” of Youth Suicide. To promote education and awareness, JFI has developed a set of training seminars with formats designed for individuals and groups.
