Founded in 1930, Fairfax has served the behavioral health needs to the greater Seattle metropolitan area for more than 89 years. As a result, we are continuously building a reputation for providing the best and most compassionate patient-centered care. Fairfax Health operates a 157-bed, standalone psychiatric hospital, located in Kirkland, WA. This location operates on a beautiful campus covered in lush trees. Six units provide specialized treatment for behavioral health and co-occurring disorders (mental illness and substance abuse) at the Kirkland behavioral hospital. Detoxification services are offered for adults.
Fairfax operates a 30-bed adult general psychiatric hospital, located in Everett, WA. This psychiatric hospital is located on the seventh floor of the Providence Medical Center’s Pacific campus. Fairfax also operates a 34-bed behavioral hospital on the quiet and private campus of Evergreen Health Monroe.

We are dedicated to educating the public the value of mental health by identifying and treating behavioral illnesses, addictions and their impact on people’s lives.
Treatment services include screening, orientation, assessment and referral, detoxification, treatment planning, crisis intervention, consultation, voluntary hospitalization, involuntary hospitalization, outpatient day treatment, intensive outpatient programs, and education. We also offer individual, family and group counseling for those engaged in our programs.
