Branches Lynnwood provides specialized mental health, substance use, and neurodivergent affirming outpatient services for adolescents and adults. Designed to meet the growing needs of the Snohomish County community, our programs combine evidence-based treatment, compassionate support, and flexible scheduling, in-person and virtual treatment options, to help individuals and families thrive while maintaining work, school, and family commitments.

Adult Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Branches Lynnwood’s Adult Mental Health IOP provides structured support for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and difficulties with emotion regulation. Through evidence-based treatment approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), participants develop practical skills to improve emotional well-being, increase self-confidence, strengthen relationships, and build resilience.
Flexible programming options are designed to support recovery while maintaining personal and professional responsibilities. Treatment includes therapist-led group therapy, individualized treatment planning, case management support, and psychiatric medication management services when appropriate.
With multidisciplinary support from licensed clinicians, nurses, and prescribing providers, our programs help patients build coping skills, improve emotional well being, and strengthen relationships. Whether seeking support for mental health challenges, substance use concerns, or social and emotional growth, Branches Lynnwood is committed to helping individuals and families thrive.
Adult Substance Use Disorder IOP

Our Adult Substance Use Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program will provide comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for individuals seeking recovery while maintaining work, school, and family commitments. Services will be facilitated by licensed substance use professionals and support both individuals beginning recovery and those returning to recovery after relapse.
The program will serve as a step-down level of care from detoxification or residential treatment and will include telehealth options when clinically appropriate. Branches Lynnwood will also offer treatment designed to fulfill court-ordered Deferred Prosecution requirements, including DUI Deferred Prosecution cases.
Services will include:
- Support for early sobriety and sustained recovery
- Relapse prevention and coping skill development
- Step-down treatment from detoxification or residential care
- DUI Deferred Prosecution programming
- Telehealth options when appropriate
- Employer EAP referrals
- Ongoing support from licensed substance use professionals

Neurodivergent Intensive Outpatient Program for Adults

Our Neurodivergent Adult IOP is designed for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other neurodivergent experiences who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, or executive functioning challenges. Using a neurodiversity-affirming approach, participants learn practical strategies to reduce stress, improve daily functioning, and increase confidence.
We can help individuals experiencing:
- Executive functioning challenges, including organization, planning, and time management
- Difficulty initiating or completing tasks
- Decision-making paralysis or feeling “stuck”
- Time blindness and schedule management difficulties
- Chronic procrastination despite good intentions
- Forgetfulness or difficulty tracking responsibilities
- Emotional overwhelm and stress management concerns
- Burnout from masking or overcompensating
- Social anxiety and generalized anxiety

Neurodivergent Intensive Outpatient Program for Adolescents (Ages 13-17)

Our Neurodivergent Adolescent IOP provides a supportive, affirming environment where teens can strengthen emotion regulation skills while practicing social skills with peers who share similar experiences. Using evidencebased approaches, including DBT, participants build confidence, improve communication, and develop tools for success at home, school, and in relationships.
We can help teens experiencing:
- Difficulty with emotion regulation or frequent outbursts
- Depression or persistent low mood
- Self-harm thoughts or behaviors
- School refusal or academic difficulties
- Social withdrawal or isolation
- Challenges with peer relationships and communication
- Difficulty navigating transitions or routine changes
- Low self-esteem or negative self-image
- Motivation and task-initiation struggles
- Feeling misunderstood or disconnected from peers

Psychological & Neuropsychological Testing

Branches Lynnwood will offer psychological and neuropsychological testing services to help individuals gain greater clarity and understanding of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges. Diagnostic evaluations can provide valuable information to support treatment planning, educational services, workplace accommodations, and personal growth.
